Let me start off this post by saying I am NOT a medical doctor. I never suggest to a client that they use a psychic or anyone else in replacement of proper medical advice from a proper professional or expert. I am also not against medication but the thing is, can psychic help in curing ADHD naturally, I think the idea of western and eastern practices can work together, and it’s about finding the right solution for you.
Now with that out of the way, I do read for a lot of clients that deal with various mental health struggles. One of the most common is ADHD (as well as depression being a close second). When we talk about mental health and spirituality my personal belief is that a lot of the time this can do with the energy in someone and the unbalance of it. The more we focus on energy that flows downward or in the negative direction, the easier it can be for things like ADHD to take over our brain and infect our lives. Below, I have outlined some ways my clients have used our reading time together to help them identify and overcome their ADHD symptoms.
The goal is not to get rid of ADHD, but rather to manage it. Look at it like a diet, you don’t just change your eating habits and lose the weight and assume you are done, you are creating healthy habits for your future.
ACCEPT IT – A lot of the time when I consult with my clients they themselves either feel something is a miss or have been told they might have ADHD. From there they themselves find it tough to accept it. They feel that if they accept a “label” like ADHD it means they are lesser, not enough, or broken. Instead there is power in understanding, a label is just that something to help us understand. An apple is not lesser than an orange. An apple is just what we call it so we understand what it is. So when you understand what ADHD is and accept it, you begin the healing.
THERE IS SUPPORT – I have had clients reject medicine for the management of ADHD symptoms only to rethink it and explore the options. Just because you take or accept medicine at first, doesn’t mean you’ll be on it for life. Instead look at it like a tool to help you move forward towards success. That said you don’t have to take medicine if you don’t feel comfortable with but if you don’t remember that doesn’t mean you get a free pass to not work on managing the symptoms.
START WITH MEDITATION – When you meditate you are connecting to spirit or source, and this is a positive ever flowing resource. Getting your brain to calm itself and to veer away from the negative and more towards the positive spirit of source will help you gain control on the negative to be able to limit ADHD symptoms. There are a ton of meditation resources specifically for those with ADHD, and meditation can help you calm your mind so you can focus in the right direction.
GET ORGANIZED – A lot of my clients report that their ADHD symptoms increase by the stress associated with disorganization. So if you can have a place for everything and everything in its place it will allow you to decrease your ADHD symptoms. Start with getting your place organized. I have encouraged clients to remove clutter from their space, and even go so far as getting a professional organizer, which significantly helped them improve their lives. So start with this and then start to organize your day by writing it down. Just writing things down can help to feel in control and this helps with ADHD symptoms.
FINAL THOUGHTS – One final thought I want to leave you all with is that every time I speak with a client struggling with ADHD the symptoms might be similar but the reasons for the manifestation of it can be different. Sometimes it’s because of an experience earlier in life, sometimes it’s from a past life. Sometimes it’s from spiritual attachments, and sometimes it’s the lesson the soul choses to learn in this lifetime. But one thing they all have in common is that there is a silver lining to everything. While ADHD can be frustrating, look around at some successful people with it Michael Phelps, Justine Timberlake, Britney Spears, even Elon Musk has Asperger’s which is not ADHD but can share some similar symptoms. What do all these successful people have in common? They are super-focused when obsessed with something they love, they are very creative, and they are full of energy all traits that propel you towards success. So remember that and that the goal is to have an understanding of the symptoms and to work with it not against it.
